Role models are the people who inspires us to do well in life and fight against the barriers to our success.Here are few such people:

  1. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam                                                                                


Popularly known as the “Missile Man of India.” Kalam was born and raised in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, and studied physics and aerospace engineering.He was a very polite and kind person.He is a down to the earth type of person. Widely referred to as the “People’s President, he returned to his civilian life of education, writing and public service after a single term.His philosophy of life will always be remembered. He was a recipient of several prestigious awards, including the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian honour. He gave many inspirational quotes.One of them is “Dreams are not those which you see while sleeping ; Dream is something that never let you sleep.”


2. Mahatma Gandhi

Widely known as the “Father of the nation”.He was born on 2nd october  1869 in Porbanadar , Gujrat. He helped India gain freedom frm the Britishers. He believed in non- violence and equality. He was a legend. He led many movements to fight against the Britishers with peace.He was strongly in favour of Truth and against the discrimination and violence. One f his quote was ,” Be the change you want to see.” 

3. Steve jobs

The Former CEO of Apple is a true role model for us.He had struggled a lot in his life but still came up with flying colors. He had never went to college.His life is an example to us that how to become successful by overcoming the barriers. One of his quote is,”Stay hungry, Stay foolish.” 

4. Nelson Mandela

He was a South African anti-apartheid revolutionary, politician, and philanthropist, who served as President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999. He was the country’s first black head of state and the first elected in a fully representative democratic election.He fought against the racism and exploitation of blacks in South Africa.He was a great personality.He was very polite and a great person.One of his quote is “It always seems impossible until it’s done..”

5. Malala Yousafzai



This young girl is an inspiration for all. Malala Yousafzai  is a Pakistani activist for female education and the youngest-ever Nobel Prize getter. She was shot in the head by taliban but she didn’t scared by them and came back even more stronger. She gave speech over the girls education  in UN assembly.One of his quote is “We realize the importance of our voices only when we are silenced.”
